Medtronic Co., Ltd. (“Medtronic”), a Fortune 500 company who ranked first in the medical device industry, sued Jiangsu Nico Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. (“the Client”) for patent infringement, involving a subject matter of over CNY 10 million. In this case, the Client had already filed one application for declaration of invalidity against the relevant patent, but it was not upheld by the court, which resulted in compressing the processing time of the case.
